Cozy Cottage Home in Rock Island

Host is very easy to contact. The dog loved the yard, wanted to just stay outside and play. Little house is perfect for 1 person and small pet, maybe 2 people. Internet and television worked fine. I was very happy with my stay and the neighborhood was quiet.

This is indeed a cozy little cottage! Good place to stay, and so glad it's pet friendly. The neighborhood is good for dog walks, too. Close to Augustana College and nice and quiet. Highly recommend!

It was the perfect place for me. Great location, hard to get any knid of store or shop. Peaceful neighborhood. I also enjoyed setting outside in the mornings, drink coffee or tea. The host was very nice and answer any questions very quickly..Would love to rent again for 2026!

This was by far my worst experience. The house was not very clean, although it is now thanks to me. I believe it was my first night I found mouse droppings on the stove. The next night the mouse got into my hotdog buns. I let the host know they said they would send someone, I set my own traps. Their person didn't come until the following day, unannounced, and set traps in the basement. I caught the mouse that evening and took care of it. I came home from work another evening to multiple wasps in the bedroom and had to play pest control again. Once again I reported it to the host, who asked if I would like them to send a pest control person back. I would not recommend this place to anyone and the host offered no compensation for my terrible experience other than to cover my cost for the mouse traps. They also never followed up with compensating me for money I spent for pest control. One more wasp showed up as I was packing up my stuff to leave.

Shopping restaurants was all close by if you like ice cream, Whiteys is close by the area we were in was excellent clean and well kept
